How to find all your subscriptions on iPhone

By Raj and the Sortd team · Last updated 11 October 2026

Your iPhone only lists the subscriptions you pay through Apple. Anything charged straight to your card, like a gym, a streaming service you signed up for on the web, or software, shows up only in your bank statements. To find them all, check both places.

Subscriptions you pay through Apple

  1. Open Settings and tap your name at the top.
  2. Tap Subscriptions.

You'll see what is active, what has expired, and when each one renews. You can cancel from here. The same list is in the App Store: tap your picture at the top right, then Subscriptions.

Subscriptions charged to your card

These aren't listed anywhere on your iPhone. To find them:

Let an app find them for you

Sortd, a free iPhone spending tracker, looks for payments that repeat, like a streaming service every month or a gym every two weeks. It works out weekly, monthly and yearly bills, shows what's due in the next 30 days, and adds up what they cost you a month. Turn on reminders and you hear about a subscription the day before it charges you.

It finds them in your Apple Pay purchases and in bank statements you import. Import a year of statements and it catches the yearly ones too. There is no bank login, and your purchases stay on your iPhone.

Cancelling a subscription

A subscription you pay through Apple is cancelled in Settings › your name › Subscriptions (Apple's steps). Any other subscription is cancelled with the company itself, usually in your account on their website or app. If you can't find a way to cancel, ask your bank what it can do.

Questions

Why isn't a subscription in my iPhone's Subscriptions list?

That list only shows subscriptions you pay through Apple. Anything you signed up for on a website, with your card, is billed by that company and only shows in your bank statements.

How do I find yearly subscriptions?

Look back a full twelve months in your bank statements, or import a year of statements into an app like Sortd that spots repeat payments.

Is there a free app that finds my subscriptions?

Yes. Sortd is free and finds repeat payments in your Apple Pay purchases and imported statements, then reminds you the day before each one charges.
